This home was exactly as described. The location to the beach was excellent. One block away and on 7th street public access. The 8th street access that is one block down from there also has a public restroom, so that made spending the day at the beach even easier. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The master bedroom is large and the access to the loft and balcony are in there. One of the other bedrooms was also good sized with a seating area in it. 3rd bedroom was normal. 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have a Jack and Jill bath. There were beach chairs and bikes available in the garage to use for the stay. Overall this home was great and the homes in that area appear to have recently been updated making it a nice area to walk. We will be back next year!

It's always good to come back to the beaches since I moved. Kent's place makes you feel right at home. Loved that they have bikes - so nice having those there to enjoy. Would consider his place again!

Quick, easy access to the beach. Coffee shop and Jax Brunch Haus (personal favorite) were very walkable. Bikes are a nice addition.

Great place close to Jax beach! Had an issue and Kent was very easy to communicate with and he came to fix it right away. Great backyard for our dog. Cool little rooftop deck that was perfect for watching the sunrise. I would stay again and would recommend.

The house was comfortable for five adults and a small dog. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. The hostess was quick to respond with any questions I had. We tried a couple of coffee and food suggestions from the host’s recommendations and they were excellent! My family and I will definitely be back for another stay.

This place was great! One block from beach and a rooftop deck where there was a direct view of the sunrise. Back yard was fenced, great for our dogs. Area is so walkable. JAX beach boardwalk just a few blocks down and walkable. Whole Foods, Publix and Trader Joe’s within a mile. Loved this place and will stay again when we return to JAX beach

Everything is excellent. Just beware the top loft is not a king but 2 twins. Other than that, a perfect stay

This place was perfect for four guys to come stay and play golf locally. Walking to the beach in two minutes to see the sunrise was a plus. Very close to many great restaurants.

Some minor things could be fixed like loose faucets, comfier mattress in the one of the guest rooms and more light-blocking curtains for the bedrooms. None of these hindered our stay and would come back again. It’s very walking friendly if the weather is nice. We also enjoyed using 2 of the 4 bikes that were available for an easy ride through the residential area. There is road construction, but again it didn’t hinder our stay. The host was very responsive and polite to any questions and even allowed a slightly earlier check-in since no one had booked the night before us. Recommended place and we’d come back for sure.

The house was incredible, location was amazing, block and a half from the beach. The home felt like a home away from home and Kent was very responsive and available to help us when necessary. This is definitely a place we will be going back to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. The house was very clean and spacious enough for the 5 of us. The location was great, just a quick walk to the beach and the Jacksonville Brunch Haus. We loved having the private fenced in yard for the dogs.

Check-in was super easy and simple, the house was very clean, had a few snacks for us, plenty of towels, beach chairs available for use, bikes available for use, and plenty of space for all of our guest and a dog! The host was very generous and even worked with me to help facilitate a different check out time on the last day! Awesome place to stay!

Stayed here with the family for a few days, perfect location! The listing advertises construction but it was a non issue for our stay. Host was very responsive when I had questions. 3-5 minute walk to the beach. Very bike friendly town which is why we chose this area. House was big enough for 5 adults and 3 kids comfortably. Kids loved the loft bedroom.

We couldn’t park at location because of construction Had to find the construction supervisor to get a permit to park at beach parking the sidewalk and curbs were being done there was a 2ft step up into the property due to construction supervisor Other wise very clean and nice great location Wish it was more explained instead 25% off due construction

Kent was an amazing host. He was very transparent from the beginning and was extremely responsive. We had an amazing time at his property with our fur babies. The house was very clean and had all the essentials and more you would want in a vacation rental. We were extremely pleased and would stay at Kent’s property again when we visit Jacksonville.

The pictures online were exactly like the placed looked on the inside. It was very comfortable. The location was just perfect, just two short blocks to the beach! The home had plenty of bath towels and beach towels, along with beach chairs and beach toys for my granddaughter to play with at the beach. The day we left I thought I had left my gold cross necklace behind in the master bedroom. I was very upset and reached out to Kent and he responded very quickly and said he would go to the property to see if he could find it and then mail it to me. Happy ending the necklace was found in my stuff when I got home. I truly appreciated him taking the time to check for me. I hope he continues to have great success with this home at the beach.

Everything was perfect. Location was awesome. For a house not directly on the beach I’d definitely stay here!! Ken was prompt to answer questions. Lots of supplies for the couple of days that we were there. This is definitely a place to stay!!

Beautiful, clean home with plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay. We traveled with family and kids and felt very safe. It is within walking distance to the beach and the central area where there are shops, restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend!

First, if you are going in the next 4-6 months be aware the road in front of the house is dirt and being completely redone. We were not told this before arriving. We were faced with “road closed no through traffic” we had no clue. I wish we would have been told this prior to arriving. The house was nice and spacious but has a few needs. We booked Kent's place to escape a hurricane in our area. It was perfect for the entire family, all 8 of us and our pets. the private fenced yard was a plus. Its just a block to the beach which you can see from the 3rd floor loft deck. Everything you could need is provided. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. We needed to stay longer and Kent replied to our request promptly and made the adjustment with no problems. Kent was a friendly and responsive hosts. We hope to come back for a real vacation and enjoy Jacksonville Beach, not during a hurricane sometime. Thank you Kent for sharing your beautiful home.

The place itself is beautiful! The loft area on the third floor was great ! There were plenty of towels and amenities. The downstairs bathroom was a plus for when we all hung out downstairs. A/C kept the place nice and cool . Only a 5 minute walk from the beach! Outdoor shower was nice to rinse off. The neighbors were nice & we couldn't hear them unless we were outside when they were. The host gave great recommendations and was super friendly and responsive throughout. I do wish there was a blanket for the living room but you could always bring your own ! There were plenty of beach towels and accessories too! Definitely would come back !

Very clean!! Loved the fact they provided all the coffee products, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, and washing supplies, even though I bought my own washing detergent and fabric softener. Even had a docking phone charger in one of the rooms. They had a very big variety of dishes, pots and pans to use. I hope whoever stayed behind me enjoyed the rest of the bomb popsicles I could not take back with me because of the long travel back home 😁

We had a lovely stay at Laura’s place. The location was amazing so close to the water. It was so helpful that there was a high chair and a pack n’ play for our infant. Our toddler had a blast running around in the backyard. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home.

We wanted to go to Jacksonville to celebrate my grandson's graduation. So, we rented one of Laura's properties at the beach. The first problem was fridge handle was broken. Next was ants on the stove and counter. I was told I was in Florida and bugs are normal. There was no bug spray to take care of the situation. The sheets had stains and crumbs. Instructions was not to strip the beds. That make me wonder if they are changing the beds at all. I was so disappointed in this property. I spent a pretty penny for 2 nights. I just wanted what I paid for. which was a clean house and bed.

Great accommodations for our family of 7. I enjoyed the kitchen and dining room space so that we could all eat together. Loved the large fridge because we shopped for groceries and cooked. Laura had everything we needed to enjoy the beach from a cooler to umbrellas and towels. And the home is literally minutes from the beach. We will be back again soon. Thank you again

Location was good- quick walk to the beach. House, especially kitchen was not clean. Difficult to open and close back door to get to patio. Mattress were uncomfortable, furniture is worn.
